I appreciated the convenient location of The Court - A St Giles Hotel in Murray Hill, especially being within walking distance to popular spots like Bryant Park and Grand Central. The large rooms were a definite plus for my stay, but I did notice some dated aspects and noise issues that detracted a bit from the experience. Overall, affordable rates for this part of NYC make it a solid choice if you don’t mind some wear and tear.

Rooms

The room was spacious, which was great, but I noticed some signs of aging, like stained carpets in the hallways and a somewhat awkward layout. It felt a bit tired overall.
Service

The staff was genuinely welcoming and really went out of their way to help. I appreciated their flexibility with my early check-in request.
Location

This hotel is in a fantastic spot in the Murray Hill area. It’s close to Grand Central and feels quieter compared to the bustling Times Square, which I enjoyed.
Dining
5.0
I snacked at the hotel restaurant and wasn’t too impressed. The food didn’t live up to the New York standard I was expecting and felt overpriced.
Facilities
6.0
While they offer room service and laundry, the absence of late-night dining options was a bit disappointing. Facilities felt basic overall.

My stay at The Court was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Murray Hill and close to Grand Central Station, which made exploring the city easy. However, the room itself felt outdated and in need of some love, with issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Rooms
5.0
I was pleased with the size of my room and enjoyed the retro elements like the old-school radio. However, the outdated decor and some cleanliness issues were disappointing. I encountered stains on the comforter that took multiple calls to resolve.
Service
6.0
Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly, accommodating my request for early check-in. However, the effort to address room issues was lacking, which was frustrating.
Location
9.0
The location was a major highlight. easily accessible from Grand Central Station and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, which I greatly appreciated.
Dining
7.0
While I didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant, the area offered a variety of dining options, from diners to more upscale eateries nearby.
Facilities
6.0
I found the room facilities adequate, with a mini-fridge and HD TV. Yet, the bathroom lacked some thought in design, like the shower curtain mishap that led to water on the floor.

Staying at The Court was a good experience. The clean and spacious rooms made me feel right at home, and the location was perfect for exploring New York City. While the proximity to Grand Central made transit easy, I did find the noise from the street a little distracting at times. Overall, it was a nice stay that I'd love to repeat. 😊✨

The location between the busy areas and residential neighborhoods was ideal. It was easy to navigate the city with Grand Central just a few blocks away, though street noise could sometimes be a bit much.
Dining

Dining options nearby were plenty, and even though I didn't have room service, the variety available around mid-town was impressive for New York City standards.
Facilities

The hotel offered good facilities, including laundry and room service, which I didn't use much, but it was nice knowing they were available for my convenience.

I had a mixed experience at The Court. While the location was fantastic, just a block from Park Avenue and walking distance to major sights like the Empire State Building, the room had its quirks. The king-size bed was comfy, but the hairdryer was less than ideal, and lacking coffee facilities was disappointing.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed, although the bathroom amenities were nice, the hair dryer left much to be desired. There were no coffee-making facilities, which was frustrating.
Service

I didn't dine at the hotel but found plenty of great cafes nearby—Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast was a highlight!
Facilities

While the hotel offered essential room service and laundry, I was disappointed by the $14.99 charge for in-room Wi-Fi and the lack of refreshments like coffee in the room.

My stay at The Court was a mixed experience. The excellent location near Grand Central and the comfortable beds were definite highlights, but the staff's service could be a bit inconsistent. While I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, the room decor felt outdated at times.

Rooms

The room size was decent, but the decor and bathroom felt a bit shabby. The bed was very comfortable, which was a big plus.
Service

While some staff were helpful, I encountered moments of rudeness, especially with concierge assistance. The service was average, and I expected more for a hotel of this caliber.
Location

Being in the Murray Hill neighborhood was great for getting around. It’s a quiet area, but still very close to all the main attractions, which I appreciated. Grand Central is just a stone's throw away.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were abundant nearby even by New York standards, with several places to grab a bite or a coffee just a short walk away.
Facilities
